The Greater Long Beach Community Medical-Legal Partnership was created to address social issues affecting the health of our patients. Due to this collaboration with the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), patients of TCC Family Health (TCC) can now receive free legal services. Factors such as poor housing conditions, loss or denial of public benefits, problems at school or work, or even violence within the household are often beyond a doctor’s ability to help. Providers are able to refer patients to the legal team as part of a comprehensive approach to primary health care.

Together the MLP Legal Services Team assists patients through consultations, referrals, and even representation in court when needed. Services are available on site at TCC at Vasek Polak clinic where a member of the team is present to meet with patients and answer questions.

While free legal services are available to families receiving medical care at any of our eight clinic sites, all appointments are currently being held at the Vasek Polak clinic located at Pine and 10th St.

Appointments are available on Mondays and Thursdays.
