Clinic Manager

Position Objective: Directs the day-to-day operations of The Vasek Polak Childrens\’s Clinic Family Health and Wellness Center.
Description: Clinic Manager who is mission driven and committed to serving this population whose responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day operations of the clinic with emphasis on patient-doctor relationship, ensures the efficiency of patient flow and nursing duties, supervises front and back office staff, works with Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operations Officer to manage provider schedules, appointment scheduling process and audit readiness. Duties may include direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. No prenatal care inpatient or call duties. We are focused on disease management and participate in the BPHC Health Disparities Collaborative for Diabetes.
Duties:
Directs and coordinates activities of the Front Office staff, Medical Assistants, and Facility/Security Manager
Oversee health education and wellness center
Coordinate provider schedules and appointment scheduling process
Management of facility issues including, but not limited to, patient flow and patient complaints
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and regulatory agencies
Respond to audit findings with input from Director or Operations
Coordinate quality improvement activities
Manage supply inventory
Represent clinic at community meetings
Collaborate with lead provider
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of The Children’s Clinic on Pine Family Health and Wellness Center. Directly supervises eight non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements:
• BA or BS (Masters preferred) in business, public health, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, mature individual who is capable of decision making and problem solving; well informed in the principles of management.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Description: Reporting to the Lead Social Worker, the MSW is responsible for delivering social services, including psychosocial assessment, advocacy, crisis intervention, patient education, referrals to community resources, protective services coordination, and assisting as needed with program planning.
Duties:
– Assists with the development of departmental policies and procedures, and ensures adherence to them.
