The Beach Walk is a fun and exciting event that draws hundreds of community members to take part in it every year. The day begins with a 5k walk around the picturesque downtown Long Beach bike path. After a short walk, participants will take part in a Wellness Fair which will include booths with information on various health and safety topics. The Long Beach Firefighters will prepare and serve participants delicious barbequed hotdogs while Dutchy’s Tropicana Band plays soothing Caribbean tunes. Awards will also be presented to the teams and walkers who raise the most money.

This year we hope to raise $75,000.00 and have 1,000 individuals participate in this event!
With your support and participation we hope to reach our 2006 GOALS!
All proceeds from this event will go directly to funding the many services and programs The Children’s Clinic provides at its six sites in the city of Long Beach. Some of these services include preventative, acute and chronic health care to children, adolescents and adults and special programs.
